I can’t even begin to describe how proud I am that Makeup Weapons is now officially accredited cruelty-free and many of our products are accredited Australian Made—because this has always been my absolute, non-negotiable priority.
As an editorial makeup artist, I’ve had the privilege of working with so many incredible people—including vegan and cruelty-conscious clients and models. But for years, I couldn’t find brushes that met both their values and my professional standards. Many so-called "cruelty-free" brushes still relied on animal hair—and while the animals may not have been killed, the process of removing that hair is deeply inhumane.
I simply couldn’t be part of that—so I created an alternative. One that performs at the highest level, feels incredible to use, and reflects the ethics we should all expect from the beauty industry.
